Confidentiality Agreement

Kaleidoscope Writers Community

This Agreement governs the sharing and use of unpublished writing and related materials shared within the Kaleidoscope Writers Community.

Terms

Definitions. "Confidential Material" means any unpublished writing, drafts, notes, outlines, or other non-public creative content shared within the Community.
Obligation of Confidentiality. You will keep Confidential Material strictly private and will not copy, distribute, post, publish, or otherwise disclose it outside the Community without the explicit written permission of the author.
Use Limitation. You may use Confidential Material only for Community purposes: feedback, learning, and collaborative preparation for publication with the author's consent.
No Ownership Transfer. Confidential Material remains the sole intellectual property of the original author. This Agreement does not transfer any rights.
Attribution & Derivative Work. Any derivative work materially based on Confidential Material requires mutual written agreement on credit and rights before external use.
Duration. Confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely unless the author provides written release.
Breach & Remedies. Breach may result in community sanctions — warning, suspension, or removal — and may expose the breaching party to legal liability.
Reporting. Members must report suspected breaches to the community team immediately.
Acknowledgement. By accepting these terms during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.
